Advent Season

Every now and then, everyone of us experience a time where we have finally grew out of coffee and towards Cola. It is very important that through this transition, we keep our eyes on the goal, lest we get dismayed and distracted. The choice is ours ultimately, no matter how much money both companies spend on their advertistment, promotion and packaging. Coca-Cola or Pepsi, that is the question now.

Well we all know that we need coca-cola much more than pepsi, we all know that after all that has been and will be, pepsi will fade and there is no effect at all. Coca-cola on the other hand, maybe might not have the extra little tangyness in it's flavor, but it works, it keeps you awake and it is what you need after all.

Today I had a very bad day, and sometimes, even though I know I shouldn't, I mustn't and I have vowed never to every do it again, I bought Pepsi. Well of course it is cheaper and easier to dispose of(the bottle), but , but...

In the end, I have nothing but remorse. I feel worse than before.

Oh the heavens! Hear me cry!

Blogging About : Is Poison Good For You?

I’ve read from Stevepavlina that coffee is in reality a kind of poison that wrecks our nervous system. According to his blog article, what we experience as the welcoming effects of coffee, the “highs” and the “stimulation” we feel when we drink our favorite cup of java, is only our body’s reaction to get rid of the poison that entered our system. Not a good news for coffee addicts, isn’t it? poor me

More than the fear however, (aha!) what fascinated me was how something that seemed so negative could trigger something positive in return. (now that’s more like it)Our problems in life for instance. Its these problems that shape our character, making us stronger, more resilient, forgiving and more capable of love.Without any challenges in life, problems to fix and puzzles to solve, would people need much brain then? Maybe we’d be more like a fish whose only problem is to swim and find its food. What we rarely realize is that people need problems as much as the solutions, challenges as much as the sweet victories emanating from them.

Why do you think there is a proliferation of reality tv shows nowadays? Aside from commercialism and the satisfaction of our natural curiosities, people crave for challenges they no longer face in their boring day to day lives

Found this interesting post while looking for the Fruits of the Spirit.

isn't it true how the writer portrayed today's sub-cultured society?
  Meaning of life
most people hardly have the time to think about it at all..

Just give me my exam and my paperworks to prepare and I'm stuffed to death. I don't need a stirring in my heart and mind and interesting thoughts about Who I Am and Why Am I Here. Those things are for people with hippy boyfriends or girlfriends.

I like the way she made the reference to Reality TV shows. It's true, people are finding new ways to stimulate their minds.

Has "Normal" hit a new low?

Everybody's Going Crazy ...

Tell me what's wrong with society
When everywhere I look I see
Young girls dying to be on TV
Won't stop 'til they've reached their dreams

Diet pills, surgery
Photoshopped pictures in magazines
Telling them how they should be
It doesn't make sense to me

Is everybody going crazy?
Is anybody gonna save me?
Can anybody tell me what's going on?
Tell me what's going on
If you open your eyes
You'll see that something is wrong

I guess things are not how they used to be
There's no more normal families
Parents act like enemies
Making kids feel like it's World War III

No one cares, no one's there
I guess we're all just too damn busy
And money's our first priority
It doesn't make sense to me

Tell me what's wrong with society
When everywhere I look I see
Rich guys driving big SUV's
While kids are starving in the streets
No one cares
No one likes to share
I guess life's unfair

4.My sister might be getting married this few years.
5.My groupmates waited for me at the next station when i missed the train with them.
6.At least i have a job, even though its charity and i'm not paid, i'm better than most of you buggers who don't have one.

My biggest regrets...

1.Not taking God serious enough, early enough, enough enough.
2.

3.Joining MRAS without thinking about it's consequences
4.

5.Not buying a net earlier to cover my window, which led to my baby boy's departure..regret this alot
6.Russia?
7.

8.For all the times which I have developed any sort of hatred towards my perfect parents and grandparents.
9.For not developing any of my many talents that God had given me..I'm the master of jack of all trades, but master of none.I can guitar, squash, drum, write, read, study, game,football,basketball,cook,ice-skate,rollerblade,tennis,run long distance,high-jump and alot more.. most of which I am in 2nd or 3rd position in terms of grade and level..never the 1st.
10.Not being cool enough in primary and high school.Which led to my pseudo-reality of that i'm actually a friendly easy-going approachable guy.

and i tag all of you who thinks that you need to list out your regrets as well..
was kinda hard..

Even The Sky Is Crying...

It has been a cold and rainy summer-end...

Moscow hates herself.

My legs have been hurting for quite a number of days due to the non-stop walking in and out of the room asking people to wait for their turn.
Malaysians sometimes do listen attentively, especially if their money depended on it.
But they do not read.

I guess I shouldn't be rainbowing too much...even home is pouring over the greens. Mr. Green, Mrs. Green and Ms Green.

Going to BDHX tomoro to go find out what an orangery is...
Is it an orchard or isit a restaurant.

:D

No pictures of anything yet.
Haven't buy my comp...
Pocket burning from price increment of everything. My oil was around 35rubles when I first arrived...3 years later it doubled.
Mineral water is now 25rubles...no longer 16rubles like last year.

wahahah..

how la
how la

It's that time of year again...only this time,it's more interesting

Will I see you again, Malaysia..?

2 days left before I fly off to potatoes, cabbages, and 2(TWO) years of unmalaysianess...

Of course I'm gonna say what I miss the most.
Wearing shorts out, slippers, pajamas, plain t-shirts.
Eating off the streets(not shaurma), buying random food everywhere, always have enough money to eat(Rm1 can buy nasi lemak), "normal tasting food".
Snookering
Fishing
T-V-ing
Call of Dutying
Eating, more
Footballing
Party-ing(well, sort of)
Yam Charing
Happying
Riana Greening
All the time :D
Waking up @ noon
Not sleeping at all...
Sleeping @ noon
I'm running out of words already..oh,oh..
Movie-ing
Eating,eating,eating

and all my fellow sausages out there...
Gonna miss all you peeps.

2 years without a sight of Malaysia, can be very tough...
I need to absorb as much of it as possible before I really fly off.
Need.to.go.fishing.

Aih~

N.B. Wall-e was superb. Probably be better if it was slightly longer on some parts, esp the pikat girl part, was too cute.

Boom dee-yada...

I love Shaurma...
and I miss him too.
It's been a year plus since we got him off Arbat Street. And about 3-4months since he passed on to another place. I still feel my heart falling whenever he comes into my mind. I miss how he'll follow me in and out the door. Wanting to go out so much into the corridors. I loved how you'll wake me up in the morning whenever you hear my alarm ring, biting gently on my toes. I miss the times when we would eat together. Or how you'd ask me to feed you when you're hungry. You silly cat used my expensive cup while I had to buy a 5 ruble cup for myself. I miss the times when you'll kiss me goodnight before dozing off on your bed.

Dearest Shaurma, daddy has never forgotten about you.
I know you are happy now.
I just know.

No, Vern...I did not

Recent events had caused me to need an output channel again.

I am at my all time low 2007.
I need support but then when expectations rise, and convictions come, and reasons fail...

what is support?

PK said today,

Don't be afraid, just believe...
BELIEVE FREAKING WHAT!?!@?!@?!?!!@!

Believe that He can, He cares and He will come.

Terkorban untuk sebab2 yang tidak sepatutnya

Fri Jun 8, 12:31 PM
VANCOUVER (CBC) - An American man who lost a chance to get new lungs when a
plane carrying transplant team members and the organs crashed earlier this week has received another set of lungs, doctors said Friday.

The 50-year-old from the Detroit area was in critical condition at a University of Michigan Health System hospital in Ann Arbor after a seven-hour surgery that ended on Thursday.

"We are relieved that we were able to do this transplant and give this man another chance for life," Dr. Jeffrey Punch, director of the division of transplantation at the University of Michigan, said in a statement.

"Our friends that died in the crash would have wanted us to go on with our work."

Calgary native Dr. Martinus Spoor, a cardiac surgeon who worked at the University of Michigan Health System, was one of four medical specialists and two pilots on board the Cessna Citation when it crashed into Lake Michigan on Monday.

The donor team was transporting organs from Milwaukee before the crash. A second set of donor organs became available late Tuesday.

"Had he not received a transplant in a timely fashion, he would have died likely," Dr. Andrew Chang, one of two doctors who led the surgical team, told a news conference Friday
.
The patient, who was a longtime smoker, had chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder that was causing right heart failure. He had been waiting for a double lung transplant since November.

The man's chest was open and his lungs were ready for removal when the plane crashed. The patient was told that he did not receive the first set of lungs, but Chang said he won't tell the man about the crash until he is ready to hear the news.

Also killed in crash were:
- Dr. Martinus Spoor, cardiac surgeon

- Dr. David Ashburn, who was training in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery.

- Richard Chenault, a transplant donation specialist with the university transplant program.

- Richard LaPensee, a transplant donation specialist with the university transplant program.

- Dennis Hoyes, a Marlin air pilot.

- Bill Serra, a Marlin air pilot.

In a statement, the patient's family said they were grateful the transplant happened, and "devastated and heartbroken" for the families of the six men.
