I Am Water...

This research was done by a Dr Masaru Emoto, a japanese(duh) scientist who majors in Water.

A couple of years ago, he did an experiment on water crystal formations, sorta like the snowflakes that fall from the sky.

He took distilled water, which by right does not form water crystals due to it's composition, and put droplets on many many trays.

He froze them and right before they melt, Dr Emoto watched them under the microscope with a high speed camera, capturing the formation of water crystals.

This is what a typical distilled water would look like when it's melting :
Formless and looks kinda like an areolar tissue.

So Dr Motomoto wasn't satisfied, therefore he went and put all those trays of distilled water and exposed them to different sets of sounds and words for days/weeks.

Check out the result he got...

I mean, check it out man...So if I were to stand infront of my fridge for 1 month saying thank you to it non-stop, the ice formation would be super nice la!
Somebody ought to try that one day.

Then you know what else he found out?
You and I are made out of water...70% of it.

So if you are thinking that your words belongs to you, and words will never harm others, Dr Motomoto is against you.

Your words will make my water crystals ugly.

think again...

I have a reason to sing...

"Now I actually remember sitting in the hospital right after everything happened, and knowing that I needed to sing and doing what I know I'm supposed to be doing, and I felt like just a victory for us..."

"Cause I don't always feel like it, I don't feel like...somehow I don't feel like singing for God, but I know that my second sense in this season doesn't change that God is still God.."

"It doesn't change what God has called me to be, called me to do. He's still on the throne in Heaven, He still rule, He's still bigger than everything that I'm facing..."

"I remember singing and not felt like how I've felt before..it's like 'I know You're here God, but maybe it's because of my brokenness, the cut was so deep and it was so fresh then, but i knew I just needed to keep singing..."

turkiye...

... le , le , Turkiye...
Just came back from one of the most exciting trip of my entire ~ life...
Have you ever been surrounded by 370 Missionaries who go to places where you can be put into prison for being a "M" (in Turkey, Missionaries are regarded as Al Qaeda, so they use the abbv M). Or go to the poorest country in Europe to set up an anti sex-trade foundation to help young girls. Or get kicked out of countries for the sake of your faith...

A 60-ish looking couple American are about to go into the city of __(something i can't pronounce)__ in Russia where there is no hospital, no clean water supply, definitely no internet and GPRS system...
For what? To spread the gospel lah, what else...

Mind you, these 370 people are not poor people back in the States, they are people who have big houses(as i eavesdropped in the bus) and big cars...They fund most of their own trips and take only basic salaries from the main umbrella.

AND THEY ENJOY DOING WHAT THEY DO!

What some more? The main pastor who shared the word in the retreat is the head pastor from Central Assembly of Assemblies of God.The biggest denomination in the world right now, and the head pastor of the headquarters came to share...Seriously life changing messages...
It did mine.

Oh, there was this guy from Morocco or America and went to Morocco, has a PhD in Plant Pathology, but decides to go into ministry...
These people are nuts! Nuts for Jesus!

Nut from Morocco

The main guy, Pastor Omar Beiler from America, he grew up in an Omish community, sort of like a Middle Eastern culture with Christian beliefs.
He accepted Jesus into his heart when he went to this revival meeting done by a Missionary who lives in a boathouse(because the area was too poor) somewhere in the jungles of Africa...
The moment Omar heard his story, he said to himself, "this is what i want to do with my life"

The next M that he went to his meeting, lived in a mudhut in another African country(again, the area was too poor)...and again, Omar said the same thing...

Can you feel the passion for Jesus there? Do you want to live in a mud hut to preach Jesus?
Would you?

Omar Beiler - coordinator for Eurasia Region

The already mentioned head pastor for Central Assembly, Pastor Jim Bradford..

Well... of course its true that we got this all-expenses-paid trip(less souvenirs) to this 5 star beach resort by the Mediterranean Sea with soft white sand and cloudless sky with temperatures soaring at 40C for the entire week while you take a cold shower or dip into the pool right under the sun, not forgetting diving into the Mediterranean of a pier 2 meters high or from a rented private boat 3-4 meters high and food everywhere in the hotel for free at almost any hour of the day with fun activities like water polo or pool gladiator(which I won) or beach volleyball archery air gun etc, and even a night show every night and they had Notre Dam de Paris which was fantastic and then they had arm wrestling competition at the so-called disco
which had so many kids running around it...oh yeah, they had 5 diff water slides, one cooler than the other...this are Sunway Lagoon standard water slides...and oh, 5 diff pools

but you know what it reminds me of the most, this place?
Langkawi...

sort of the same temperature, same beach, got sea and pools and slides and buffets...

hahahaha...

Anyways, all glory to God, this is trully one week of blessing...
seriously blessed kao kao...
Both physically and spiritually also...

N.B. All pictures from wowe's flickr site...
he is a good photographer...he took about1000 pics in this short 6 days,
Sam took 10? Flora took 30-40? I took 50 max?

Praise God!

oh yea, N.B. 2 ...the worship sessions were wonderful...people come up to us and tell us that they've not worshiped in English for a very long time and that just bring us to goosebumps...
And i realized that older people don't really like the bass guitar so much, so 5 of the 6 soundmen that we had put me at 0 volume at all times...
I had to ask to be turned on so that I can tune...imagine that...
And all the free food! woo hoo..

What Holiday?

As everyone else on planet earth, we in Moscow too have a long weekend.

In conjunction with Labour Day and Spring Day...we got the 1st and 2nd May off, but only to have the 2nd May replaced on the Sunday(4th i think...) and we have MASSAD on 3rd

and I have Music Practice, RMSA meeting, Social Bureau Meeting, Sayang Meeting, Spring Cleaning...

What holiday was I saying?...

I'm sure everyone is feeling the heat...(pun intended and not intended at the same time)
Keep yourself healthy and stay strong in d Lord....
No way around it..

Quote "Social Cultural A"
"Dude, if you can think of any other way to handle this, I am all for it man....but, thing is, there is no other way....It's just the way it is..."

can't agree more...

After MASSAD....I'm really hoping to not die of stress.
Thank You!

:D

God Bless...enjoy your Holiday!

like the early dew that disappears

It's good to know that peace can come only if you want him to come.

The overuse of ...

God so loved the world
That He gave
God so loved the world
That he gave his only son

Worthy is the Lamb that was slain
Worthy is the Lamb that was slain

He's risen from the dead
He is risen
He's high and lifted up
Heaven and earth adore

It's in Isaiah 9:6 where its written
"For to us a child is born,to us a son is given "

I'm not even gonna explain why we celebrate Easter Sunday and Good Friday and Palm Sunday and all the Lent things and Holy Week...(if you're over 15years of age, you should've already done a Google search on all everything there is to search for. After all, it is the INFOMATION technology, right?A normal youth goes online 10hours a day on average...3hours porn-3hours IM-3hours blog, you should have an hour left to do the googling, on average.

Do yourself a favour and look up the meaning on your own, oraiz?)

...because, in reality, you won't even begin to understand the extraodinarygreatlysuperhumogouslyawesome-ness of the whole thing, until it begins in your life.

You won't begin to grasp the tiniest reason why we're so grateful to have such a day

You won't even begin to see the joy in our hearts whenever words like "He is risen" is sung

Let alone understand why this mean more than anything to us...this 3 ordinary day that is extra-ordinary in everyway...

...hahah

We know(by now you should have done your googling) Jesus went to the grave on a very Good Friday...

...and the Son of God Himself walked out from cave He was entombed within, He had just shattered the law of the univers.

death is dead. Jesus took over.

I feel like flying leh...can help me?

Lately I've been having this feeling of bungee jumping off my window...
Don't worry, I'm not suicidal.

=D

The weather has been so crazily nice and not nice for the past week now. Simutaneosly, concurently at the same time it's hot and cold...

Windy and Warm (Chet Aktins).

It's just so nice to be standing by the window with it wide open, letting the cool air lap against my skin, ussualy shirtless(are you starting to imagine)(coming to picture?)(me-shirtless)(*wink*)(oh my gosh...enough la)(stop fantasizing ok?)(k lah...1 more minute) . (ok stop thinking about the topless me) (oh here we go again...)

But the moment I step away from that 30cm free corner by the window, ITS BURNING HOT in my room. The wind is hardly entering through the little vestibule between the outer and inner window. Urgh... Thank God for the little table fan I won @ Massad 2006. That she was too egoistic to have. Bleh.

So cooling, but yet so hot...
Remember about the "Mixed Week" I mentioned in the previous post?

Devouring Pork Ribs ...from Belyaeva Station

--------------------------------------
We had a short prayer meeting just now, and everyone told Daddy that we're so tired, so shutting down system, so need rest. I felt as if God already gave me the rest :D

I'm not tired at all leh...dunno why. In fact I feel so energetic right now that I can be eating a whole grilled chicken...oh yeah,I don't have any. Thank God that, somehow, I am not as tired as I am supposed to be. Thank Dad that I'm so, rested.

:D Love you DADDY!

Grace perhaps..

To juenz: tis is a post for u pigeon loving penguin dude...
remember grace?...
------------------------------------------------------------

So Latin ...
Now that I will need to do my own homework and not skip her classes. Gonna be a feveret student in class .

Gonna be an angel .

Ironic as it may seem(to me, at least), I cant take away the grace issue from the whole chapter. It was just about 2months ago when Juenz asked me what grace meant. I had the honour(ya man..u better belanja me williams i tell u..potato man u...i want my mozarella naan..or at least hawaian special..!) of explaining to him what grace meant to me.

Undeserved Favour.

In 1 way or another, I hated Latin class. Not the language yeah, but the class.
There was once when I woke up late for class and she screwed me inside out and almost chased me out of the class. and targeted me like nobody's business on that day. The only good thing was that she is quite old, and had totally forgotten about it the next week, and took my attendance for that week when I was late.

My good friend here once told me when he was trying to enlighten me on a certain issue. He told me that when he made a choice to give 100% commitment to something that will quite obviously affect another part of his life, he expects(one way or another) that the 100% will pay off. Going to church on every Sunday? Have to wake up 8am leh brother. Crazy meh?...but if you go everyweek, you don't think that you'll recieve the real rest God will give you?

This, is a totally different story though.

I hated the class. But God had chosed to bless me in this way that I can see Him move even in this small area.

We humans are sinners to the max. We'd lie all the way to our graves or drink til we puke our stomachs out or until our hearts sink inside d stomach(ha!) if we have no restrictions. If there were no law binding us from throwing rubbish all over the place, we'd do it. True.

So why did Jesus chose to come to die for us anyways?
Not like He's gonna get anything good from it...There was this circulatory email a couple of years back, where Jesus wanted to buy all the souls who will believe in Him, but satan asked him, why would He want to waste His blood on succums like us...

Why?...

Why will God offer me a chance for avtomat in my least liked subject? One that He knew I'd not work for it from the begining. The only subject that really, really bore me...

They call it grace.

Undeserved Favor.
The simple fact that God gave His only Son to die for us, you and I.
The simple fact that God will take the punishments of our sins.
The simple fact that Jesus will look pass our flaws.
The simplest fact...that God loves us больше чем все...

Don't get me wrong, you and I both did not earn this... We'll fail on the spot if there was such thing called the God's Standard Exam(GSE) . Thats why it's grace.

Thank you Jesus. :)
I'll spend sleepless nights reading up my genders and declensions for You !

3/02/2007

Speak of Grace....or irony(maybe)

Everyone has their own least liked "thing". Or least liked subject for that matter.

I know I do.
It's called Latin Language. It's one thing that I did not 'really' come to learn when I came over here. It's boring. It makes you come to class at 9am and it makes you do homework. Loads of them.

bored people talking. interesting.

So what happened was this. We were eating in the uni's cafe right before the start of our Latin class. Casual chat and what not. See, there is something about this class that makes it so unlikeable(NOT hated, mind you) and so uninteresting(ahh..this is the correct word). It is just plain, bori. not fun.

This was the conversation:
Hari: Ai yohh...so boring lah the class later. Feel like sleeping only
Hanna: Ala, bukannyer ko pandai sangat pun nih. Gi jer lah kelas tuh.
weEks~:You know, kalo lah ade ape ape kelas yang aku nak bunk. First choice tuh Latin.
Memang bosan giler babi
.
.
.
.
and you know...

what is really on my mind during her class

So we made our way to the class. We sat down. The teacher asked.
"So, tell me please. Who are the good students in our class?"
Khaya mentioned my name. I mentioned hers. The rest of the class mentioned some KhayaKee or WeeThree hybrid name of mine and hers.

The teacher continued to say:
"Okay. For this semester, if you will get good marks for your tests. Only good marks. I will give both of you avtomat*.

!

what.

cheese !
____________

To Be Continued...(moral of the story in 2nd chaper lah)
*avtomat-free credit. dont have to do final exams.
